Twilight Maize Walk
On Saturday evenings you can navigate our maze by the light of Venus and Jupiter, and the distant constellations of Leo and Ursa Major as the sun sets on our Twilight Maze Walk. This non-scary event is a fun time for all ages. Walk through our maze with your friends and family then star-gaze by our cozy bonfire and enjoy the beautiful night sky.

Haunted Hayride & Corn Maze
Tractor-pulled hay wagons are your chartered chariots as demented souls seeking revenge for what once wronged them raise havoc to all who awaken them.
The Maze cornfield walk has been hailed as “one of the most dreaded encounters” in Vermont. Every twisted turn will send you screaming into further confusion.
The Hayride. The Maze. These are not just dressed up humans looking to confuse you; they are not people you see along the paths doing their job to spook you; this is real… as real as the night is dark… awakened… shaken… angered… needing no more than to rest… be a witness to the unmistakeable fears inside you as you try to escape….

Our Haunted Hayride and Haunted Maze characters will try to scare our guests. We also use loud music, visuals, strobe lights and gory props for the haunted events. Ultimately, the determination of whether your child is old enough to attend our haunted events will be left to the discretion of the child/children’s parent/s. However, we do not recommend our haunted attractions for children under the age of 12. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
(Please be aware that there are no refunds once you have paid for you and/or your child’s entrance into our events.)

What attractions are include with the price of admission?
Your wristband is the key to many doors, including:
- The Corn MAiZE
- Rides on the Cow Train
- Admisson to the Baby Animal Barn

- FARMtastic Fun Farm Games All Over the Place
The only activities not included with the ticket price are the Corn Cannon, and food.
Are you open rain-or-shine?
No. Rain + heavy foot and vehicle traffic can heavily damage the turf and parking lot for the rest of the season. We will post any delays or cancellations on our website and Facebook page.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, no dogs are permitted at fall events.

Do you accept credit cards?
Sorry, no. All events are cash-only.
Are strobe lights used in your events?
Strobe lights are used in both the haunted maze and the haunted hayride route. There are no strobe lights used during our daytime corn maze or the twilight maze walks in September.
Are kids allowed on the Haunted Hayride or in the Haunted Maze?

Is Farmer Bob a real Farmer?
Yes
For the safety and consideration of all of our visitors, there is to be no use of alcohol or drugs on the Gaines Farm property during our daytime Corn Maze, or evening Haunted Hayride and Haunted Maze events. In addition, there is to be no smoking of cigarettes on any of our day or evening hayride wagons or inside our daytime or haunted maze.
